Everglades Owners,

I am attaching the minutes of our 3/22 meeting. Please note that there will be ANOTHER MEETING on 3/30 at 9 a.m. in the Clark Center which I will describe below.

Many issues were discussed and voted on. All are described in the minutes.

The main issues, however, were the building painting project and the courtyard project. The building and grounds committee recommended one specific color (taupe) so the board voted to offer it to the owners. However, 2 swatches were painted in the tunnel leading to 12 South on the west end and numerous people, including committee members, agreed that it was too dark and perhaps too brown. It appears that the board will vote NOT TO OFFER that color to the owners when we meet on the 30th. The paint job may be put on hold for a year.

The committee is now moving forward with the courtyard project. They hope to get it completed before next season (2016/17). Toward that end, they will present a landscaper at the Wednesday, 3/30 meeting who will present a detailed plan including schematic for us to consider. I urge as many owners as possible to attend to view the proposal and learn about its details. This will also be an opportunity to express your thoughts about it and its individual features. The meeting will be at 9 a.m. at the Clark Center.
